Project description: The target of N.Petritsi farm project is to transform the unused military camp of N.Petritsi into a communal farm. It is a multidisciplinary project that combines environmental, societal, architectural, economical, philosophical and even ontological interests and perspectives. The project is about getting together people for a common goal. It is going to open up working opportunities for the unemployed locals and will potentially stop the rapid migration from the village. The residency programs that will be hosted in the farm are going to bring a new dynamic into the area which may contribute to knowledge production through sharing and making. Alongside, the farm is going to be a great example of low-tech development and construction which contributes into environmental sustainability and consciousness.

Social sustainability is also an important integral aspect since making is happening by the involvement of the public through the participatory group into taking decisions collectively about the reprogramming of the farm and the future transformation.
